Ko Lay broke up with his Girlfriend, Thaw Da, for choosing another Lover. Ko Lay spent New Year’s eve, at a Night Club, drinking Alcohol, until he became very DRUNK. When the Night Club was closed, he staggered into the Street, in the night.
A Singer, Myit Zu ‘Angel’, who works at The Night Club, accompanied him all night on the Street and helped him to get to his house. Angel will buy food for Ko Lay and they begin seeing each other.
Ko Lay’s Sister, from Mandalay OBJECTS to his relationship with Angel. The Sister visits Angel, who is asked to promise, NOT to be involved with Ko Lay anymore.
Thaw Da’s Father, U Thet Pan, is Ko Lay’s rival for Angel. Ko Lay tries to see Angel, but FAILS.
U Thet Pan hospitalized Angel, for her disease. U Thet Pan brought Ko Lay to The Hospital, to see Angel, who is dying. Angel holds a glass bottle, which contains the Birthday Gift of an Angel Toy, from Ko Lay more than 5 years ago.
At Midnight, a candle is lit and Angel dies in the arms of Ko Lay. The Glass Bottle, in her hand, slips, falls to the floor and is broken.
Like The Song, that is sung by Angel, she disappears from Ko Lay’s Life.
